Prenatal appointments (every 4 weeks until your 28th week, every 2 weeks until your 36th week, and every week after that until delivery)

LABOR AND DELIVERY
Our clients are encouraged to call anytime of the day or night if they think they are in labor
Our assistants and midwife will be with you throughout your labor and birth
Birth team holds CPR certificates as well as a current Neonatal Resuscitation certification
Ladies are encouraged throughout labor to eat and drink to fuel their bodies
Onlookers can be as few or as many as you chose
Full labor assessment, including dilation, effacement, fetal position, blood pressure monitoring, fetal heart tone monitoring
Pain management without drugs
Relaxation including, massage, aromatherapy, water therapy, etc.
Techniques for avoiding perineal tears including warm oil massage, warm compresses, gentle second stage coaching
IV Antibiotics available for GBS positive moms
IV fluids on hand if needed
The babies are put directly on the mom’s chest for instant bonding
Delayed cord clamping for ultimate blood distribution to baby
Parents choice as to who cuts the cord (siblings love this)
Father’s are welcome to catch. Children are encouraged to touch and bond with baby
Mom and baby go into a soothing herbal bath. Baby is alert and happy.
Newborn exam is done on the bed with mom and everyone invited to watch! Dads are encouraged to use our scale to weigh the baby themselves
We will stay with you after your birth until all discharge criteria has been met
