Hailing from a small town in Northeast Texas, Dr. Kara Paeltz received her undergraduate degree in Health and Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2008. During her tenure at UTTyler, she worked as a competitive cheerleading and gymnastic coach for ages 4 months to 18 years old. This experience ignited Dr. Paeltz’s passion for working with children. Dr. K also attended Hands On Therapy School of Massage further strengthening her innate passion to help people by utilizing her God given talents to their fullest. Upon earning her Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. K helped cancer patients rehabilitate and increase their overall independence at a non-profit cancer foundation. Through this role, she learned the importance of enhancing each individual’s quality of life and made that her ultimate goal.
Dr. K went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and Bachelors of Health and Wellness at Parker University in Dallas, TX. At Parker, she was active in both the student government and clinic abroad programs. In 2012, Dr. Paeltz was chosen to attend the Central America and Caribbean Junior National Track and Field Championships in El Salvador where she treated the best athletes from the surrounding countries. Currently, Dr. K is pursuing her certification in Pediatrics and she holds the Webster Certification with the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association.
Dr. K is co-owner and doctor at Expressions Chiropractic of North Richland Hills with her Husband Dr. Justin Paeltz. The doctors started dating in chiropractic school and married in 2014. In April of 2015 they became pregnant. They sought care Under Midwife Michele Massey at Gentle Beginnings. After the birth of their daughter, Amellia Kristi, the Lord put a new dream in Dr. K’s heart. After her birth experience she wanted to be more involved with expecting mothers and their little blessings. She has been working with pregnant women and infants since she began her practice in 2013. She is excited to offer her services at Gentle Beginnings Birth Center and provide women with the best care. “My goal is to support Mama and her growing family in their birth choice. Dr. K is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Texas Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association and the North East Tarrant County Chamber. She resides in North Richland Hills with her husband, daughter and 2 yorkies.
